WIDE EYED TRIBE
Wide Eyed Tribe are an alternative rock band formed in Wigan in 2023, blending the anthemic attitude of Britpop with the haze of shoegaze. Driven by a gritty northern undercurrent and 90s nostalgia, their sound is built on deep grooves and immersive layers of reverb and delay, balancing atmosphere with impact both on stage and in the studio.

"Their songs are carved from flickers of wonder, seeking truth in reverb, delay and distortion. There’s a raw beauty in the sound they make. The hum of resistance, the ache of belonging, the wide-eyed gaze at a world both broken and divine. Each note is a step deeper into the wild heart of what it means to be" - Angelo Pappas
"Walk Into the Storm" by Wide Eyed Tribe is a gripping and emotionally charged anthem that captures the tension of standing at the edge of something powerful and unknown. From the first note, the track pulls listeners into a brooding sonic landscape layered with textured guitars and a driving rhythm section that builds like thunder on the horizon. The lyrics balance vulnerability and strength" - Johnny Utah
"Every song feels like a journey inward and upward at the same time, a place where echoing melodies blur the line between memory and dreams. There is a celestial ache, a sense of drifting through star-dusted corridos, guided by sounds that seem older than the night itself. Their sound blooms slowly, like a universe forming, then suddenly erupts into colours you didn’t know you could hear" - Bodhi
Journey
Formed in 2023, Wide Eyed Tribe began gaining attention following a live session at Hyde Studios, recording Reasons To Breathe and Mantra. This was followed by the self-recorded Bleach My Mind, which led the band to Si Jones (The Verve). Together they recorded Flow Into You and a series of demos at Factory Studios. Fresh from those sessions, the band released Walk Into The Storm.
Known for immersive and emotionally charged live performances, Wide Eyed Tribe have played notable shows including Tramlines Fringe Festival, Loop Festival and Psyched Up, continuing to build momentum through both their recorded output and presence on stage.
